- Hiking in Huntsville
Now that it's summer, you might be thinking of planning on spending more time outside. May I suggest hiking? There are many great opportunities for hiking in the Huntsville area and Bob Goodwin shares with us his discoveries as an avid local hiker. Hiking destinations include Huntsville itself, the surrounding counties, and other areas within 70 miles or so. There are jewels right here, such as Monte Sano State Park, all of the Land Trust properties, the greenways and other places. There are also a myriad of opportunities not that far away in some of the other state parks and in Tennessee.
